About Phil Aldridge

In a nutshell:

  • retired Primary Headteacher
  • returned VSO volunteer (Rwanda)
  • married to Chris
  • father to Nicci (teacher) & Gemma (journalist)
  • avid blogger
  • bookworm
  • born again cinema-goer
  • globetrotter
  • music lover
  • photographer
  • political animal
  • sports fan: Nottingham Forest FC, Gloucester Rugby, Notts CCC
  • wannabe master-chef  🙂

Enjoying early retirement. Keeping busy. Spent three months in 2010 working for VSO in Rwanda, and prior to that a month on the Book Bus in Zambia.

It’s been great to have time for catching up with old friends all over the UK & to take holidays abroad in term time!

Still following Nottingham Forest & Gloucester Rugby – a glutton for punishment!

I’d love to use your photo of Laugharne in a free calendar that I am distributing amongst my electorate in Mid and West Wales. Would you be prepared to give me permission with a credit of course!

Best wishes

Hi William – Is that the one from behind the Boathouse? I’d be happy for that provided I get credit & a copy of the calendar.
Best wishes
